Our Sunday Service
We come together each week to sing, pray, listen to scripture, hear a message, share in Holy Communion—in short, celebrate that we are God’s beloved children. We’re neither “high church” nor “low”—just somewhere in the middle. There’s an order to our service but no set rules, no dress code, and the whole service lasts approximately an hour.
We want all who come to feel welcome, regardless of their beliefs or their doubts. Although some churches restrict who can receive communion, we believe it is Jesus’ meal, not ours. So we invite everyone to participate, just as Jesus did. We believe his presence in this meal is meant for everyone.
We care a lot about music—we’re a congregation that loves to make a “joyful noise.” In addition, there’s almost always an offering from one of our choirs or a vocal or instrumental solo from a member.
We also provide an ASL interpreter for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. And the entire service is included in our bulletin to make it easy for new friends to participate.
